Hop on Facility Call (Приєднання до проекту, що отримав фінансування)

What is the Hop On Facility?
The Hop On Facility provides the possibility for legal entities from low R&I performing countries to join already funded collaborative projects under Horizon Europe Pillar 2 and the EIC Pathfinder calls.

Why do we consider it worth trying?
Joining an already funded project is much easier for a newcomer. While taking less effort and time, such participation will give you first real experience in Horizon project participation, increase your visibility among colleagues, and help to establish new international links in your research field.

Which ones are the ‘widening countries?
Low performing R&I countries or the so-called widening countries are Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and all Associated Countries with equivalent characteristics in terms of R&I performance and the Outermost Regions: Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Iceland, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, North Macedonia, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey and Ukraine.

What does it mean in practice?
    1. Check the list of funded projects under Horizon Europe pillar 2 and the EIC Pathfinder, which are open to the Hop-On Facility: https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/portal/screen/opportunities/horizon/hop-on
NB! the list is updated regularly so interested organizations should check often!
    2. Consider which projects you may have relevant competencies for. You shall be capable of bringing added value to the project, performing an additional task. For example, you may propose an alternative solution for a project’s task or some extra work that can increase the promised gain.
    3. Prepare your expression of interest letter which consistently describes your competencies and proposition and contact the coordinator of the selected project via the “Contact” button on
